How it's caused

Motor neurone disease is a rare, progressive disease that affects the nerves in the brain and spinal cord that supply the muscles of the body. This leads to a number of symptoms including:
Muscle spasm (spasticity)
Muscle weakness
Decreased sensation.
Problems with breathing
Difficulties with mobility & other activities
